Here at our country inn, we want our younger guests to feel every bit as comfortable as the grown-ups:
The adventure playground right next to our inn promises the youngsters everything they could possibly wish for. Animal lovers will be happy to spend part of their day with the rabbits out in the barn, while those who are hungry for adventure can look forward to memorable moments on the big playground. If that's still not enough, how about fishing for a trout at our big pond - we'll even cook it up for you afterwards to enjoy for dinner. You will also find a selection of delicious snacks sure to appeal to your kids on our children's menu.
Every Tuesday afternoon in summer, we offer an exciting children's program.
With so much action awaiting the youngsters, mom and dad can take advantage of the opportunity for a timeout, relaxing on the terrace while keeping an eye on their kids.
Tip: The playground and barn are also open in winter!
A Children- & Family-Friendly Business
The Waldhäuslalm has also received official confirmation of its reputation as a children- and family-friendly inn. In fact, undercover test families gave our Alm a thorough going-over during the 2016/2017 season. In the process, we were evaluated in a variety of categories including playground, playroom, parking for prams, kid-height sinks and child-appropriate menus. The Waldhäuslalm now proudly displays the official seal of the Styrian Office of Children's Affairs.
