Waldhäuslalm - your excursion destination in Schladming

Here, nestled amid the glorious countryside of Untertal, enjoy delicious homemade Styrian specialties, relax after a day of hiking on our sunny terrace, or simply treat yourself to peaceful coffee & cake, while your children explore our big adventure playground – our kid-friendly Waldhäuslalm, in Untertal just outside Schladming-Rohrmoos in Styria, Austria, offers all of this and so much more.

Relax & Enjoy

Everyone is welcome, both summer and winter, to visit our family-run business. Our guests include:

Our Waldhäuslalm is a popular excursion destination in the Schladming-Dachstein Region. We are accessible for guests with restricted mobility and have even been certified by the Styrian government as a child- and family-friendly establishment.

Variety-packed Excursion Destination in Summer

For families, sports fans, groups and businesses - a visit to the Waldhäuslalm is always rewarding! Especially in summer, Untertal attracts visitors with countless opportunities for outdoor recreation.

These include, for example, a wide selection of hikes in Untertal and the nearby Schladminger Tauern mountains.

We highly recommend the beautiful "Wild Waters" theme path, which happens to run right past the Waldhäuslalm.

Winter Days at the Waldhäuslalm

The Waldhäuslalm in winter is ideally suited for families, sports fans, groups and businesses eager to spend the day away from the busy ski resorts. The road leading to the Waldhäuslalm is kept plowed, while we are also reachable by regular public buses.

The playground is also open, while our barn animals love to be visited by the youngsters.
